Why we got started

Since 2008 Micamoma’s mission has been to deliver the highest quality cosmetic grade ingredients including mica powders, pigments and specialist colourants to our customers. At the time there were very few colour options available on the market for cosmetic makers making it very hard for makers to be creative and produce their products.

As makers ourselves we understand the importance of reliability, consistency and performance when making your products. That is why we make every effort to ensure that every product that we offer to you is tested in-house by us.

Our pigments section for soap making is testimony to this fact where we show you how the colours will look in the final product.

Many mica powders and pigments will morph or fade but we rigorously test our mica powders and pigments in cold process soap and subject them to extremely high temperatures so that there are no surprises for you.

This takes away the guesswork, pain and frustration of knowing whether you are going to get the colour you were promised.

100% Cruelty Free, Vegan and Ethically Sourced

All of our products are vegan, cruelty free and ethically sourced. We are very careful about where we source our products and only work with suppliers who adhere to rigorous ethical standards. None of our products are tested on animals.
